Formal Schooling
Khayalethu makes use of 5 different schools, depending on the child’s language abilities and grade. School uniforms are supplied and children are transported safely to and from school by our competent staff.
Extra Tuition
ACVV Khayalethu Youth Centre make use of a qualified ABET facilitator, who has been involved with ACVV Khayalethu Youth Centre for the past five years as part of a reading program.
Carla was appointed on 13 July 2010 to assist the boys with their homework and has taken charge of the school training centre. Carla will also assess the boys progress and follow up with the relevant school of a pupil if necessary.
The boys have to commit to a minimum of two hours per day homework after school
